THE CARDEAL
It is said that in 1720, the cardinal D. José Pereira de Lacerda had a fragrant garden right where we stand today. In that garden there was no time, just plants, light, tranquillity and the songs of birds that came to rest. So famous was the cardinal, that even a street was named after him, this very same street where we are located.
Family owned since 1941, the Cardeal suites & apartments’ building has been totally rebuilt infusing this space with a new life.
Located in downtown Faro, 500 meters away from the marina, the building still features its regional architecture, spreading itself from a central courtyard, a place of rest surrounded by the sounds of water and the colours from the garden (it may well be D. José’s…).
All nine apartments of Cardeal are carefully decorated in a contemporarily elegance, with a private bathroom and kitchen, as well as all other necessary amenities for a long and pleasant stay – our word as hosts on it!
The private parking lot and the elevator allow for the accessibility and security of all who which to stay in this calm and inclusive space, located within 15 minutes of Faro International Airport.

Disabled Guests
The building was designed so that all areas are accessible to people with reduced mobility. Most of the apartments, especially Casa Hibisco, are equipped so that they can be used by people in a wheelchair and the elevator guarantees everyone access to the various floors of the property.
Covid-19
The space is recognized as Clean & Safe by the National Tourism Authority. There is a contingency plan and reinforced cleaning and disinfection procedures were adopted, guaranteeing the health safety of all users.
